Viking has a wide selection of reliable, easy-to-maintain internal gear pumps. These pumps feature adjustable end clearance for low or high viscosities, as well as multiple shaft seal and porting options. Also available are Viking External Gear Pumps, which have higher pressure capabilities, minimal pulsation, and compact / close-coupled options. Viking Rotary Vane Pumps transfer liquids from chemicals to liquefied gases, with superior suction lift while providing very low slip and high volumetric efficiency. These pumps work to a maximum capacity of 160 GPM and maximum pressure of 200 PSI.
Rubberized Asphalt is a perfect application for Viking, which has been one of the most reliable pumps used in the asphalt industry and unlike multiple shaft external gear pumps which have four bushings, the internal gear pump only has two. These pumps Coker retrofits for rubberized asphalt service with changing just the Head & Pin and Idler & Bushing. This can be done while pump is in place. Rubberized asphalt is inherently more abrasive and a perfect fit for a Viking pump which is proven to have the internal components to handle the toughest applications.
